January Sun

January Sun

January sun
A bit of heat
Still see my breath
A blanket of love as I ride my bike in the street

When bright rays beam
And shine like in the dreams
Our Northwest winter reminds us
That soon it will be spring

I am a native of Eugene, and love this valley!  I know the area from 40 years of living here, and engaging in my community.  I love gardening, cooking, bicycling, and hiking.  I also love to travel with my wife Shelley and daughter Eva to some of the amazing places we have to vacation and day trip.  I'm also a musician with Shelley, and our travels have taken us all over the country, and different parts of the world.  We conclude that Eugene is an amazing place to live and have a family.  We call it "SpaGene" because this is a place you can relax, eat organic, get out in nature, and be around a lot of really nice folks.  Like a spa built into life.  Buyers, I am in tune with the region, and will help you find the groovy spot that strikes just the right chord with you.  Sellers, I like to help people know some things that help curb appeal, and selling points to get your house sold.
I graduated from Churchill High School in 1986, and earned a Masters Degree in counseling psychology from the University of Oregon in 1992.  I have lived in Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR, as well rounding my experiences with other places, people, and cultures.  I love helping people, and I love helping people improve their lives.  I also love homes, property, and bettering my community.  Being an agent is a great way that I can influence my community for the good by helping people have great experiences with buying and selling property.  Positivity breeds positivity, and I intend to always spin it in my hometown!
My goal is to see your needs, and help you get them met.  I'm here to serve you.  I take it very seriously to be a caring, integrous, trustworthy, fun, and friendly person do work with.  I desire everyone to feel that it was most pleasant to have me on their team, or a part of the situation.  Let's do this great thing together!  Is it scary for you?  Let's have some fun, go after it, and find your dreams!

Why Do Eugenians Like Eugene?

I am a Eugene native growing up in this lush, outdoor and organic friendly Willamette Valley.  I love gardening, bicycling, swimming, concertizing, and performing music.  I was born in 1968, and over that time, I have seen Eugene, change very little.  It was a tree filled, health food haven then, and still remains a beautiful, friendly small city.  I love to drive to the top of Skinner Butte in the fall to look at the canopy of colorful trees covering the city.
I play music with my wife Shelley James in numerous groups, feeling totally blessed to be able to travel around the region to bring special music to events.  Our music has taken us all over the world.  We've seen lots of different types of places, and I conclude that Eugene is truly one of the most blessed regions of the entire world.  With its wineries, green rolling hills, world class art, music, track & field, organic farms, restaurants, and bike paths, the Eugene/Springifield area is an incredibly livable region.  In fact, the country living that some find in the multitude of surrounding small towns adds to the appeal.  Without much time or traffic one can find themselves out in gorgeous farmland, looking at properties with acreage, privacy, quiet, and other country delights.
